Learning, lunching and leisure – it’s all going on! – July 2022

We’ve had such a busy month, we hope those of you who follow us on Social Media have enjoyed seeing what we have been up to (if you don’t follow us, why not? Our links are below!).

Here’s a quick round-up of some of the things June had in store…

Sponsoring success

As sponsors of the Seeds of Hope care volunteers awards, Kelly, Paige and Lisa met the Mayor and Mayoress for afternoon tea at their awards ceremony. We also sponsored the ‘Educational Setting of rhe Year’ award at Carers Trust Solihull’s Carer Friendly Awards 2022, and Kelly and Lisa were lucky enough to attend their awards ceremony too! And did you manage to catch Steve on the fabulous Retirementals podcast?

Sharing is caring

We also had our monthly client walk, wandering through the Midlands countryside in great company. We really love being able to spend the time talking to clients and friends outside of meetings/the office, and looking after everyone’s wellbeing with a bit of fresh air and fun. And we’ve been really lucky with the weather for them too (hoping we haven’t just jinxed that for the next one!). Why not join us sometime – click here to check the dates and register.

And then there was our fantastic workshop on Care in Later Life, held at Shirley Golf Club, where we helped many of you with your questions and concerns around finding and funding later life care. We loved the feedback we received: “the information given was second to none” “full of useful, thought-provoking information”, and look forward to running another session in the future.

We hope those of you who have joined our events have enjoyed them, and benefited from our help and expertise, and we are looking forward to welcoming those clients who can make it to our Summer Party at Hogarths Hotel in July. Let’s hope the sun stays out for us!
