Career Summary

Before finding Lucent, I had a career in Procurement, specialising in Logistics and Supply Chain. While the work was enjoyable, I found myself looking for a greater sense of purpose where I could make a difference, which led me to a career in Financial Planning.

My Role at Lucent

As a Chartered Financial Planner, it’s my role to support clients in making their dreams a reality. That may or may not be life changing, but it should go someway to removing any worries you have and helping you live a happier and content life.

Don’t ask me why, but I love entering crazy ultramarathons. 55 miles from the top of the Lake District to the bottom in one go – why not?! A 100 miler before I’m 40 – yes please!
Food! I’m open to all types of cuisine—from a humble pork pie to a Michelin-starred feast. I love to unwind by cooking up something special or enjoying a relaxed evening dining out.
It would be rude not to say my wonderful husband, Richard and our cats. They’re a daily reminder of why it’s essential to have a great financial plan in place for the people (and pets!) we cherish most.

Dislikes

Supporting Wolves – between VAR and an long standing inability to score a goal – Final Score is a constant disappointment in my life.
Loading the dishwasher. No matter how hard I try, I never seem to get it right.
People not having access to or seeking out Financial Planning at an earlier stage in life. Getting the basics right sooner in your career will make retirement so much easier!
