After starting my career closer to home in Cambridgeshire I moved to Solihull. Ever since moving to Solihull I have worked at Lucent and have now been here for 6 years.

My Role at Lucent

I am an Independent Financial Planner which means that I help clients achieve their dreams! I do this by helping them join the dots between their money and what that means for their lives.

I like knowing that every day I am doing the right thing and genuinely helping people. I can go home feeling proud of the things me and the team have helped our clients accomplish.

I am passionate about truly helping people get what they want in life and doing everything they want to. I think this is my purpose and it what I love doing more than anything else.

Likes

  1. Spending time with my family – This is the most important thing in the world for me. I always want to be able to look after and help my family.
  2. Learning something new – I am naturally curious about people and things. It is a big part about why I love my job, I am constantly learning something new from new people.
  3. Anything sport related – I have played and watched sport for as long as I can remember - especially if I can go and watch live sports.

Dislikes

  1. Musicals – Much to the dismay of my girlfriend I just really don’t like them.
  2. Providers dragging their feet – There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to get something done and being held up by slow providers.
  3. Seafood – I am not allergic I just don’t like the taste!
